Like many women, I chose to give up curling my hair because it just wasn't working out. But that doesn't have to be the answer, especially since there were so many benefits to having curly hair such as:
- Instant volume, shine and texture
- Be seen as more attractive and I just felt more sexy and confident
- More likely to be noticed
- Less oily hair because scalp oil doesn't flow easily down curly hair
I desperately wanted to experience what my natural curly haired friends take for granted. So why should I give up on having curls?
Would you believe me if I told you that there was one clever "hack" that meant you could have gravity-defying curls that last for at least TWO DAYS?
I finally discovered an incredible product THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
It is literally changing so many women's lives. It changed mine and it will change yours too!
As I know too well, there is a lot of false information online that leads women to believe that they need to spend a lot of time 'prepping' their hair before using an ineffective curler and to use multiple styling products (all the chemicals stacked on top of each other can't be healthy for your hair?).
To make things worse, these 'pre-curl routines' also depend on how fine or how thick your hair is!
"I was not going to spend hours styling my hair"
And you shouldn't have to either.
What's really going to solve this problem for you is how your hair is curled in the first place, so that you don't need any products or prep routines.
The atoms in your hair are held tightly by hydrogen bonds, which become weaker when heat is applied. Have you ever noticed how easy it is to bend something when heat is applied? Your hair works in the same way and will conform to the shape of the curling iron barrel.
So what's the problem with most curling irons? Their barrels are the wrong shape. It's easy to think if you want curls, you should go for a round barrel - but we know it doesn't last.
If the barrel is square instead of round - then that will produce 'edges' in your hair and 'square' curls - resulting in tightly coiled hair.
It takes much longer for these curls to drop because they have been set much more securely.
